Our comprehensive training, coaching, and knowledge transfer methods are designed to build capabilities and upskill client resources so that we can operate independently and confidently once we have completed our work.
Assessment
We conduct a thorough assessment of our clients’ Software Developers to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. We conduct code reviews of existing work and introduce short pairing sessions to understand their approaches to Software Development. This helps us to identify the best training and coaching methods, creating a tailored training plan that meets their unique needs. This is delivered through 1–1 meetings.
Training
We offer structured training sessions to our clients’ Software Developers on a monthly basis, where we focus on our clients’ specific technical stack they use for delivery of services. Our Developers use interactive, hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios to help developers understand and then apply the concepts they learn in these sessions on real-world projects.
Coaching
This involves our Senior Developers working alongside our client’s Developers on projects, pairing and conducting ongoing code reviews whilst they apply the knowledge they have gained in a real-world setting. Our Developers provide guidance and feedback through 1-1’s to help our clients strengthen their skills and become more confident in their abilities. This is often rolled out over a 12-week period, ensuring knowledge transfer isn’t just at the end of a handover.
Pair programming
We work in pairs to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration whilst working together on the same codebase, sharing their ideas and insights, as well as helping each other to identify and resolve issues.
Workshops and hackathons
We organise monthly workshops and hackathons within the tech community to give our clients’ permanent staff the opportunity to collaborate with each other. These events provide a platform for Developers to learn from their peers and expand their skill sets.
Technical documentation
We create detailed technical documents to help our clients’ software developers understand the systems and processes they are working with. This ensures zero dependency at the handover stage. We provide comprehensive instructions, making it easy for developers to follow. We also include monthly checkpoints to answer any questions that may arise.
